We manufacture our beautiful products in a family factory in Portugal, near Porto (so they don’t circle the planet three times before arriving in your drawer). Above all, we make sure to work with a factory that has convictions: the workers are well paid, have supervised hours, and have access to solid social protection.

Our margin is approximately x1.8 - which is much less than traditional lingerie, which has a minimum coefficient of x5. With this margin, we pay the teams and above all, we can invest in We Are Jolies to make it an ever more beautiful brand, in every sense of the word.

The oversized t-shirt is the basic that we think we already know… until we come across the perfect one really good.

We imagined it with a loose fit, a straight body and long straight sleeves, to achieve that relaxed fit that we love without giving the impression of being lost in a t-shirt three sizes too big.

And for the material, we went to look for a sure value: the same soft and comfortable organic cotton as that of our pajamas. It follows your movements without restricting you, and immediately makes you want to wear it all day.

Why choose ORGANIC cotton? 🌱

Conventional cotton cultivation is the second largest industry who pollutes our planet the most, after the oil industry. It represents 2.5% of the world's agricultural area, but uses 25% of pesticides and 10% of herbicides (source WHO).

These are very aggressive chemicals, which destroy the environment and leave a significant footprint on the biodiversity on the one hand, but also on our health from another.

Some weedkillers used sometimes even contain glyphosate, an ingredient classified as "probably carcinogenic for humans" by the International Agency for Research on Cancer (ICRD). Other reports (such as Dirty Laundry 2 published by Greenpeace) also demonstrated the presence of nonylphenol ethoxylates in certain clothing, endocrine disruptors frequently used in the production of natural and synthetic textiles...

By wearing clothes whose origins we have absolutely no knowledge of, we unfortunately expose ourselves to the risk that our largest organ absorbs these toxic substances.
