Ethical expertise

We make our lovely products in a family-run factory in Portugal , near Porto (so they don't travel halfway around the world before ending up in your drawer). Above all, we make sure to work with a factory that has strong values: the workers are well paid, have regulated working hours, and access to robust social protection.

Our profit margin is approximately 1.8x – which is significantly less than traditional lingerie, which typically operates at a minimum 5x markup. This margin allows us to pay our teams and, most importantly, to invest in We Are Jolies, making it an even more beautiful brand in every sense of the word.

We say " no " to retouching

Our models are real people whom we do not retouch. We do not wish to contribute to solidifying certain unattainable beauty standards that make us feel insecure. Because yes, it's hard to stop comparing ourselves, even when we know it's completely " fake ."

Beauty is not measured in retouched pixels, but in self-confidence, self-love, and self-acceptance.

At We Are Jolies , we believe in the importance of loving ourselves as we are, at every stage of our lives. 🙏

On the one hand, we therefore refuse to retouch our photos; on the other hand, we also make sure to show you a real diversity of bodies.

This is our way of showing you that beauty comes in many forms , and we hope it will help you (even if only a little) to embrace your own. 👑

You are magnificent, exactly as you are. That is true beauty.

Tired of having to choose between looking stylish and being comfortable ? Then wait, let us tell you why you'll fall head over heels for these black lyocell and lurex panties. 💘

Let's not beat around the bush: this gem is pure comfort , made from a soft , natural material that's kind to both your skin and the planet. Plus, we've added a touch of shimmering lurex for that stylish edge that makes all the difference. ✹

Made from lyocell, a natural fiber that's incredibly comfortable to wear, these panties effortlessly combine comfort and style . Because we know you deserve both well-being and a stunning look, even under your everyday clothes.

And let's talk about the shape: this cut is simply a basic style that we should ALL have in our wardrobes because it's timeless : neither too covering nor too low-cut. ✂

In short, our panties are perfectly cut and fall flawlessly on the hips, without riding up into the stomach! We promise, you can breathe easy. đŸ§˜â€â™€ïž

You know those panties that are so comfortable you want to wear them every day, and so pretty you think, "Why didn't I get them sooner?" Well, that's exactly it. That's the kind of panty I'm talking about. 😍

Our goal is for you to feel good in your own skin. And we think that starts with feeling good in your underwear! 🙌

3 good reasons to wear pajamas or a nightgown to sleep đŸ’€

First of all, wearing pajamas or a nightgown can help regulate your body temperature while you sleep ! Made from organic cotton, our lovely pajamas will absorb moisture and keep you warm or cool depending on the season. đŸ„”đŸ„¶

Furthermore, wearing pajamas can help maintain good personal hygiene by protecting your skin and sheets from sweat and body oils . This can also help reduce the risk of skin infections and acne. đŸ’Ș

Finally, simply putting on pajamas can help signal to your body that it's time to sleep by creating a sleep-promoting routine . You're encouraging your body to relax... and prepare for a (great) night's rest. 😮

💡 Did you know? The skin is the largest organ in the human body

Why choose organic cotton? đŸŒ±

Conventional cotton farming is the second most polluting industry on our planet , after the oil industry. It represents 2.5% of the world's agricultural land, but uses 25% of pesticides and 10% of herbicides (source: WHO).

These are highly aggressive chemicals that destroy the environment and leave a significant impact on biodiversity on the one hand, but also on our health on the other.

Some weed killers used even contain glyphosate, an ingredient classified as "probably carcinogenic to humans" by the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC). Other reports (such as Dirty Laundry 2 published by Greenpeace) have also demonstrated the presence of nonylphenol ethoxylates in some clothing, endocrine disruptors frequently used in the production of natural and synthetic textiles.

By wearing clothes whose origin is completely unknown, we unfortunately expose ourselves to the risk of our largest organ absorbing these toxic substances .

Choosing organic cotton therefore means:
- Protect your skin and your health ❀
- Supporting a culture that ensures farmers avoid these same health risks associated with chemicals 🙌
- Encouraging crop rotation to maintain healthier, more fertile , and more moist soils 🌍
