Our approach
At We Are Jolies, we design lingerie, clothing, and everyday essentials with comfort, durability, and inclusivity in mind.
We have chosen to embed our development in a process of environmental and social progress, continuously improving our materials, manufacturing processes, and production conditions.
Our goal is to offer products that are both accessible and more responsible, without compromising on comfort or inclusivity.
Inclusivity and product design
Inclusivity is at the heart of our product approach.
We offer a wide range of sizes and specifically work on the grading of our designs to adapt each cut to different body shapes.
We invest in research and development and collaborate with pattern-making experts to:
- ensure comfort across all sizes,
- adjust patterns, especially for extreme sizes,
- and offer clothing and underwear truly designed for movement and everyday life.
Our products and GOTS certification
Some of our products are made from organic cotton certified according to the GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard).
GOTS certification guarantees in particular:
- the organic origin of the fibers,
- environmentally friendly processing methods,
- and compliance with social criteria in the manufacturing workshops.
Not all of our products are GOTS certified yet.
We commit to clearly identify, on our product pages, those that are, and not to claim the certification for items that are not yet certified.
We are actively working to increase, season after season, the proportion of our collections made from GOTS certified materials, particularly in our lingerie and essentials ranges.
The majority of our products are OEKO-TEX® certified, which guarantees the harmlessness of the products and the absence of dangerous substances.
Manufacturing and working conditions
We work with selected partner workshops, chosen for their expertise and their adherence to current social standards.
Our requirements notably include:
- decent and safe working conditions,
- the prohibition of forced labor and child labor,
- respect for local labor laws and legal minimum wages.
We believe that the concept of "ethical manufacturing" must be based on precise and verifiable criteria, and not on mere declarations of intent.
Materials and Environment
We prioritize natural fibers, and when a product requires it, we always turn to recycled materials.
We primarily favor cotton in our products, striving to guarantee at least 80% cotton across all our collections.
Wherever possible, we prioritize:
- certified organic cotton,
- certified materials (OEKO-TEX®, GRS - recycled certification - GOTS depending on the products),
- and manufacturing processes that limit environmental impact.
We know that not all of our materials are yet organic or certified. We choose transparency on this point and progressive improvement rather than unrealistic promises.
Social and community involvement
We work with associations committed to social and environmental issues aligned with our values.
Our commitments:

- supporting their actions through donations
We believe that our responsibility does not end with the product, but also extends to concrete acts of solidarity.
